Pizza Rolls Recipe
Dough
· 1 cup water, warm
· 2 ½ tbsp. sugar
· 1 tbsp. yeast
· 1 tsp. salt
· ¼ tsp. garlic powder
· ¼ cup oil
· 3 cups flour
Mix water, sugar and yeast. Let stand for 10 minutes or until foamy, then add the rest. Add
flour a little at a time as needed to make a soft but not sticky dough. Knead until dough is
even and no lumps remain. Cover and let it rise until double in size (about 1 hour). Roll out on a floured surface, into a 12 x 24-inch rectangle.
Filling
· ½ cup pizza sauce
· 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
· ½ cup pepperoni, diced
Combine Filling and spread on the rolled out dough. Tightly roll up, and slice rolls 1 ½-inch thick. Place on a baking sheet. Let rise again until doubled. Bake at 375°F for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 18 rolls.
